I hope the manager gives Broja a start.

We need to make a decision on him.

I would hope that they have already decided to send Broja back as he, decent looking footballer he is, IS NOT a goal scorer and is injury prone. We have had quite enough of his sort in the past. We don't need any more thank you.

For Broja read Chermiti as we need to see him, if he is fit enough yet, preferably with Beto and Alcaraz.

I agree, Peter. I can't see any way we pay £30m for a player who has only been able to make a handful of starts due to injury. I've seen speculation suggesting Chelsea will have suitors for Broja this summer but unless it's another season-long loan (which I wouldn't be opposed to at all) it's unlikely Everton will be in the queue.

I really want to see Chermiti given some decent minutes between now and the end of the season. Clearly Man City and Chelsea would be difficult assignments but the Ipswich home game feels ideal to me for him to make his first start of the campaign.

I could see Broja early for his possession skills. Chermiti does excite me but man, he has a hothead streak in him. I like Beto late against a tiring City back line. Anyway, after the recent results, I am willing to patiently see how Dave plays the cards he holds.

Challenging game today but City are, currently, not the force they were so we should not be scared of them. If we are aggressive I think there is every chance of getting something from the game.

Re the Broja discussion he has made 42 appearances and scored 2 goals in the last 3 seasons for Chelsea, Fulham and ourselves. I’m not sure we need to see anymore to see he isn’t worth £30m so we need to see Chermiti in my view

I. personally would like us to dispense of that lone striker nonsense.
It is the antidote for easy on the eye footy, that most of us would love to see.
