Everton's supposed interest in Rohl first surfaced in April when Sky Germany suggested that David Moyes had him on his radar as a potential midfield acquisition for the summer. Linked with Newcastle and Liverpool last year, at 6' 4", the German U21 International fits the mould of a Fellaini-type and he could be available for around £18m.

According to The Bobble, Everton are in talks with Manchester City over a potential deal for the former Bournemouth defender who could provide defensive cover

Kellen Fisher

According to reports, Everton are keen on the young right-back as they look to finally find a viable long-term successor to Seamus Coleman. Fisher only signed a new contract at Carrow Road in September last year having signed from non-League Bromley in 2023.

Tomáš Souček

Souček is said to be very happy at the London Stadium but if Graham Potter feels that the player isn't a great fit for his preferred style of play, the word is that David Moyes would be very keen on a reunion. The Czechia international has a year left on his current deal and could be available for between £10m and £15m, a fee that Moyes may feel is worth it as he seeks to replace the departing Abdoulaye Doucouré. 

Verdict: If Potter doesn't want him, odds on he ends up at Everton

Dwight McNeil

With Everton having brought in a number of players capable of operating across the pitch behind the striker, McNeil has seen his prospects of regular first-team football recede dramatically in recent weeks. As such, speculation has grown that he could leave the Blues before the transfer deadline with a number of Premier League clubs said to be interested in his services

Kobbie Mainoo

With Mainoo having informed United that he wants to secure a loan move elsewhere to gain greater guarantees of regular first-team action this season, Everton have emerged as potential suitors. Ruben Amorim has apparently told him he will not be allowed to leave but the speculation persists.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles

As Everton continue to look for cover at full-back, the former Arsenal man has emerged as a potential target. Maitland-Niles has been with Lyon for two years now and made 55 Ligue 1 appearances.

Verdict: Lyon need to offload players and Maitland-Niles might find a return to the Premier League appealing so this is conceivable 

Georgios Vagiannidis

Reports suggest that Everton have a serious interest in the 22-year-old full-back but may have to wait until next month to sign him. Apparently, Panathinaikos are keen to have him in their side for their Champions League clash with Rangers and are hoping that a bidding war breaks out in the meantime between his suitors which include Sporting in Portugal.

Verdict: Everton are in the market for a right-back but this one may be dependent on the fee required to land him

Malick Fofana

Lyon’s enforced demotion to Ligue 2 could spark a rush to sign their better players in cut-price deals which is what journalist Sebastian Vidal is claiming Everton want to do regarding Fofana. The Blues would face competition from Liverpool and Chelsea for a player reportedly worth around €60m under normal circumstances, with the latest speculation suggesting that an Everton bid of €35m has been rejected.

Update: Fofana now seems set to stay at Lyon for one more season 

Josh Brownhill

The Burnley stalwart is out of contract this summer and attracting interest, with Everton inevitably linked given that he would be available on a free transfer. 

Jason Knight

Bristol City's failure to gain promotion via the playoffs means that Knight will be the subject of plenty of transfer speculation this summer and TeamTalk claim that Everton are in interested in the 24-year-old. 

Tom Fellows

Having been linked with a move to Goodison during the January window, expect Fellows to be mentioned in connect with Everton again over the summer months. The attacking midfielder, who turns 22 in July, is one of the hotter properties plying his trade in the Championship and could be looking to make the move to the top flight given that West Brom missed out on promotion this season. David Moyes has a track record of making astute purchases from the second tier so it only makes sense that the Blues will be in the conversation.

Francisco Trincão

Unverified reports have emerged during Everton's impasse with Southampton over Tyler Dibling that the Blues have made enquiries about Trincão.

Abdul Fatawu

Whether it's a ruse to tempt Southampton back to the table over a deal for Tyler Dibling or genuine interest as an alternative, Everton are said to be targeting young Leicester prospect Fatawu. Alan Myers reports that there is interest in the tricky winger from Hill Dickinson Stadium

John McGinn

Both Newcastle and Everton have reportedly tested Villa's resolve over the Scottish international midfielder, with the latest suggestion being that the Toffees have had an £18m turned down. The Midlanders are seemingly adamant that McGinn won't be sold this summer.

Dion Lopy

A report in El Mira in Spain claims that Everton could be close to signing the 25-year-old Senegalese midfielder for around €25m

Francisco Conceição

A report in Portugal claims that Everton have met the release clause for the winger but that he is only interested in joining Juventus on a permanent basis, having spent 20224/25 on loan in Turin. However, Juve aren't interested in meeting the current asking price of €30m for Conceição which leaves him somewhat in limbo, with his exit trigger set to increase to €45m this week. 

Douglas Luiz

There is increasing chatter about Douglas Luiz returning to the Premier League this summer, with Juventus willing to sell him for considerably less than they paid for him. He joined the Serie A giants for €50m from Aston Villa last year and played 19 league games in 2024/25. Como reportedly lead the race for his signature this time around but Everton, Manchester United, Fulham and now West Ham have also been linked with the Hammers seemingly ahead of the Toffees' in the chase.

Verdict: With a fee of around £25m being mooted, it could be an option the Toffees explore

Raphael Onyedika

A claim from a Belgian journalist has it that the Toffees and West Ham "are in pole position" to land Onyedika from Club Brugge this summer. The midfielder would reportedly be available for around €30m. This has been rubbished by the Liverpool Echo, however.

Verdict: Wait for more substantial speculation on this one but it sounds like paper talk

Reports in Turkey have suggested that Everton are considering a move for the experienced 32-year-old Brazilian who spent a number of seasons at Manchester United. If true, David Moyes could be eyeing him for his experience.

Yuri Alberto

The Toffees are among a clutch of clubs being linked with Alberto who seems set to leave Corinthians this summer after a proposed switch to Wolves collapsed in the 2024 winter window. TFG stablemates AS Roma are said to be tracking the 24-year-old striker along with Atletico Madrid and West Ham (a suggestion rubbished by sources close to the Hammers) after Inter Milan were supposedly offered him in February. One wrinkle: he is currently injured. 

Verdict: His name appears to be being circulated and it remains to be seen if Moyes retains the interest he has in the player while at West Ham

Antonio Nusa

Dubbed "the Norwegian Neymar", Nusa was on the radar of a number of Premier League clubs last year when he was still with Club Bruges and he is once again being linked with a move to England following his successful season with RB Leipzig. Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle, Aston Villa and Napoli are all said to be interested in the 19-year-old player who is valued at close to £40m.

Verdict: At that price and with that competition, it's an unlikely one

Anthony Caci

Having been previously linked with Leeds and Fulham, Mainz’s Caci it is claimed “exclusively” by TeamTalk that Everton are showing interest in the player. The 27-year-old wing-back is entering the final year of his contract with the Bundesliga side.

Adama Bojang

Ryan Taylor of the Mirror claims that Everton “have enquired” about the 21-year-old Reims forward who is “expected to cost around £10m”. Brentford are also reportedly interested and West Ham have “held talks”.

Aleksandar Mitrovic

Having left Fulham in a big-money move to play in the Saudi Pro League, Mitrovic is being talked about in terms of a return to the Premier League. Al Hilal are reportedly open to either loaning him out this season or selling him outright and, of course, Everton, West Ham and now Manchester United are said to be interested.

Verdict: Undoubted goalscoring ability but the wrong age profile for what the Blues need

Valentin Castellanos

With Everton known to be in the market for a striker there was no surprise when the name of Valentin Castellanos was mentioned in connection with the blues. However, Harry Watkinson of TeamTalk has tweeted that, according to his information, Everton are not interested in the Argentine.

Verdict: Paper talk

Dusan Vlahovic

Everton are supposedly among the group of clubs interested in the veteran Juventus striker but the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal would surely be ahead of the Toffees in the pecking order.

Verdict: Expensive and would surely want European football   

Vladyslav Vanat

According to reports, Everton, Fulham, Leeds and Sunderland are all in the mix for the Ukrainian attacker. According to Champion in his native country, the Black Cats are leading the chase for the 23-year-old and are ready to make an offer of almost £17m. 

Verdict: If Everton's interest is genuine, you'd imagine we would be an attractive option for Mykolenko's compatriot

Vladimir Coufal

With his past association with Moyes at West Ham, the fact that he is out of contract this summer and Everton's need for full-back cover on both sides of defence, Coufal is one of the more obvious transfer links of the close season. Amid reported interest from newly-promoted Leeds, the Czechia international is said by TeamTalk to prefer a move to Merseyside.

Verdict: If Moyes wants him, you'd think he would want to come

Hamza Igamane

Mentioned as a possible target during the January window, Igamane is once again being mentioned in connection with Everton. Brentford, West Ham, Lille, Strasbourg and Rennes are all said to be interested as well. 

Verdict: Moyes has had success recruiting from Rangers before but there are question marks over whether Igamane would cut it in the Premier League

Yves Bissouma

Seemingly out of favour at Spurs following his big-money move from Brighton, Bissouma could be looking for a new challenge and Everton might fit the bill.

Verdict: Much would depend on whether Thomas Frank feels he would be central to his Spurs project

Oguz Aydin

A report in Turkey says that Everton might look to "test the water" with a bid for the 24-year-old winger as David Moyes looks to replace Jack Harrison

John Stones

According to The Mirror, Everton are ready to sound out Manchester City about the possibility of taking John Stones back to the Merseyside club.

Mohamed Diomande

Charlie Gordon of *The Express* (at the bottom of the pecking order when it comes to knowledge of Everton transfer news it should be noted) claims that Diomande is among David Moyes’s transfer targets this summer as he aims to bolster the Toffees’ midfield. The Rangers man is seen as a potentially valuable acquisition given his versatility and a possible replacement for Idrissa Gueye should he leave.

Matt O’Riley

The former Celtic man has emerged as a potential Everton target after Sky Sports reported that the Blues would be interested “if Brighton sanction a move” for the midfielder. O’Riley is purportedly on the shopping list of a number of European clubs which would make David Moyes’s chances of landing him that much harder. Sources closer to Finch Farm suggest that there is currently no interest from the Blues in making a move this summer.

Verdict: Media speculation for now

Nick Woltemade

With Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid said to be in the mix and the striker himself reportedly happy to stay where he is for the time being, it would seem as though Everton's chances of landing Stuttgart hot-shot Woltemade this summer were slim. Club scouts watched him extensively during 2024/25 and, as such, the Blues were listed among the host of clubs interested in signing him but he was always going to sign for a Champions League outfit. 

Stuttgart CEO Alexander Wehrle told Sport.de and RTL in May: “No one has called us. And I firmly believe that no one will call us, because we’re planning next season with Nick. [Bayern] are free to enquire, but Nick is our player, and he’ll play football with us next season as well.”

Verdict: Seems to be heading to Bayern Munich

Veljko Milosavljevic

As Everton search for the next player of a similar profile to Jarrad Branthwaite, the Blues are being linked with 17-year-old Serbian, Milosavljevic. Celtic have reportedly had an opening offer rejected, with one report north of the Border suggesting that it could take almost £10m to convince Red Star to part with their centre-half prospect. 

Dan Neil

Much may depend on whether Sunderland secure promotion to the Premier League this summer but Everton are said to be interested in acquiring Black Cats midfielder Neil for around £10m.

Gus Hamer

The second the whistle blew at the end of the Championship play-off signalling Sunderland's dramatic victory over Sheffield United, the rumour mill will have begun turning with regard to the future of Gustavo Hamer. A key player in the Blades' promotion push and their star man during their 2022/23 season in the Premier League, the 28-year-old is expected to make a move back to the top flight this summer, with Everton and Leeds leading the chase. 

Verdict: Certainly plausible

Richarlison Andrade

As long as Richarlison is active as a player and not a regular starter for Spurs, he is going to be linked with a move back to Everton, such is the close relationship between the Toffees and the Brazilian. However, his struggles with injury and lack of consistent goal return would make it a questionable move and David Moyes poured cold water on the speculation at a press conference in May, saying that any talk of a move for the 27-year-old was "absolutely false".

Moses Simon

Simon has reportedly been watched by Everton as well as several clubs in Spain and Germany and he was recently asked about the speculation where he offered the usual spiel about being under contract with Nantes but always open to making a step up in his career.  

Mika Biereth

Everton have reportedly put Biereth on their shortlist of striking targets for the summer but he will take some prising away from Monaco as he only joined the Ligue 1 outfit in January in a deal that could be worth up to €15m.  Prior to that, he had made a £4m move from Arsenal to Sturm Graz in Austria where he scored 11 times in 16 appearances.

Sinaly Diomandé

Ligue 1 has been fertile ground for Everton scouts in recent years, with Jake O'Brien, Orel Mangala and Iliman Ndiaye all signed from French clubs within the last 12 months. AfricaFoot suggest that the Blues are eyeing 24-year-old centre-half Diomandé as they look to potentially replace Michael Keane who is out of contract this summer.

Rydnn McGuire

With Joao Virginia, Asmir Begovic and Zan-Luc Leban all leaving Everton this summer and Billy Crellin out of contract, the Blues' academy may need bolstering in the goalkeeping department. According to RangersReview, the young keeper is valued at around £1m and is being tracked by Arsenal and Everton, among others.

Ben Doak

Not since Gary Ablett crossed the Park in 1992 have Everton signed a player from Liverpool (while Nick Barmby and Abel Xavier have since gone the other way) but, according to numerous reports, the Toffees are keen on Reds winger Ben Doak. The 19-year-old Scot, who has impressed on loan at Middlesbrough this season. He could command as much as £30m, which might make a move by Everton prohibitive.

Verdict: A highly promising player but that rumoured fee is awfully high

Ngalayel Mukau

Despite having only joined Lille from Belgian club KV Mechelen last year, defensive midfielder Mukau is already being talked about in terms of a move to the Premier League, with Everton said to have earmarked him as a potential £17m target according to AfricaFoot.

Jesper Lindstrøm

Lindstrøm may have seen his loan spell at Everton come to a premature end when he sustained a hernia injury that required surgery but it's not beyond the realms of possibility that the Blues try and re-sign him for another season. David Moyes is a known admirer of the Dane from when the winger faced his West Ham team in the Europa League.
