  • Marc Watts

    Executive Chairman

    Marc Watts, Everton

    Named when The Friedkin Group's takeover of Everton FC was ratified in December 2024, Marc Watts was the first appointment to the new board of directors as the Club's Executive Chairman. At that point, he had been with TFG for 14 years, having joined the company from another Houston, Texas-based firm, Locke Ford LLP where he has served as vice chairman and managing partner.

    A graduate of Texas A&M University and Harvard and a lawyer by trade, Watts has been a director at AS Roma since 2020 and also serves on the boards of Highland Resources, Cabot Oil and Gas, Service Corporation International.

  • Dan Friedkin

    Chairman

    Dan Friedkin

    Born in San Diego, Friedkin assumed control of Gulf States Toyota, which distributes the Japanese automobile manufacturer's cars in the United States, from his father and he has since branched out into luxury resorts, film production and conservation.

    He is estimated to be worth around $6bn and bought AS Roma from James Pallotta for $700m five years ago while also acquiring fourth-tier French club AS Cannes. He is also an avid pilot who famously doubled for actor Tom Hardy in flying the Spitfire that lands on the beach at the end of the film Dunkirk.

  • Ana Dunkel

    Director

    Ana Dunkel, TFG and Everton

    Born in Uruguay, Dunkel moved to the United States at the age of nine. She served as a senior accountant at Plains Oil & Gas in Houston, Texas before embarking on a 17-year career at JPMorgan Chase.

    She joined the upper management of The Friedkin Group in 2012, has been the firm's Enterprise Chief Financial Officer for the past 12 years and sits on both the boards of Everton FC and AS Roma.

  • Colin Chong

    Director

    Colin Chong, Everton

    With extensive experience in the construction industry, Chong was hired as Everton's Chief Stadium Development Officer in 2018 to oversee the construction of Everton Stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock. Prior to that he worked at Laing O’Rourke and been involved in stadium redevelopment projects at Manchester United's Old Trafford, the Manchester Commonwealth Games stadium, Wigan Athletic's DW Stadium as well as working on the Blues' behalf for the erection of the Park Stand at Goodison Park back in 1994.

    In 2023, he was appointed as the Club's interim CEO following the departure of Denise Barrett-Baxendale, a role he will hold until he is permanently succeeded by Angus Kinnear in June 2025.

  • Eric Williamson

    Non-Executive Director

    Eric Williamson

    Williamson has served as President and General Manager of Gulf States Toyota for almost a year but has been with the TFG-owned firm for more than 30 years, having been director of marketing, director of accessory business development, director of fleet operations and vice president of Human Resources in the past. In his current role at GST, Williamson oversees one of the world’s largest distributors of Toyota vehicles and parts across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Louisiana.
