An interesting piece, Kieran.
I've been to Bradford a few times as my daughter was studying there before settling near Leeds. Never got to a match but have been to the excellent Jacobs Well a couple of times - marvelous Mild!
As I recall, the European Cup Winners Cup Final was preceded by a minutes silence. However, the disaster was then somewhat overshadowed by events at Heysel shortly after.
