Moyes equals Guardiola with 11th Manager of the Month Award
David Moyes was named Premier League Manager of the Month for February for steering Everton away from relegation danger just weeks into his return to the Club.
The Scot was re-appointed as the Toffees' manager in January following the departure of Sean Dyche and after losing the first game just days after his arrival to Aston Villa, he has overseen a run of four wins and four draws that has left Everton 16 points clear of the drop zone heading into this weekend's round of fixtures.
In winning the award for the 11th time — and his first since picking up the accolade in 2012 when he was still at Goodison Park for his first spell — Moyes ties the tally reached by Pep Guardiola.
"It's been great being back in the building here," Moyes said on evertonfc.com.
"Everybody's made me feel really welcome and obviously winning enough games to be awarded the Manager of the Month has been huge for us.
"For me to join a club and, near enough in my first month, get Manager of the Month is more to do with the commitment of the players, their attitude and the way they've worked.
"They've been fabulous, the players. I'm really thrilled because the names of the people who are up there are unbelievable coaches and managers."

Darren, Im also surprised and like yourself and had serious reservations about his return, given the the Shenanigans surrounding his exit.
There is no doubt, he has done a fantastic job, in the circumstances and that has somehow sugar - coated the deception.

Surprised this one hasnt attracted more comments.
I didnt want him back. My memories of his first stint here were still fresh in my mind, but maybe, just maybe, without the influence of our late chairman. DM will be a little bolder this time around. He's older and wiser now. As he enters the Autumn of his career. He will surely start to think he needs another trophy or two to be considered one of the better EPL managers.
I'm all for being proven wrong on this one
