Everton heading back to the US this summer
Everton will return to the United States for pre-season this summer as part of the second annual Premier League Summer Series.
Along with Bournemouth, Manchester United and West Ham, the Blues will play in three double-header fixtures starting on 26th July at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Everton will face off against Bournemouth that day and then play the Hammers at the Chicago Bears' Soldier Field on 30th July.
The final matches will take place at the iconic Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta with Everton vs United on 3rd August.
Two of the games will be broadcast on national television by NBC but all six will be available to US subscribers of the Peacock streaming service. As in previous years, Everton's Digital Members may be made available for streaming to fans back in the UK and elsewhere in the world.
Evertonians can register for tickets now at premierleague.com/summerseries, with pre-sale starting on Thursday 13 March.
"We’ve found out about the trip over the last few days and we are super excited," said the Blues' current team captain, James Tarkowski. "We enjoy meeting fans from far and wide, and this is a great opportunity for people to come to see us play and prepare for the new season.
"I know we've got a big fanbase in North America already but spreading the name of Everton is always good. We have new American ownership, a new stadium, a new manager, so it's exciting.
"We are looking forward to the future - and that starts with next season and the Summer Series over in the U.S.
"We know that there plenty of fans out there when we get there in the summer.”
