Mason Holgate has likely played his last game for Everton after a season-long loan deal was finalised with West Bromwich Albion.

The defender spent half a season at the Hathorns five years ago and he will return to the Baggies for the remainder of the current campaign, at which point his current contract with Everton will expire.

He will then be free to sign for another club for no fee.
