I know and appreciate that TFG utter few words in public but someone, even if it is a press release issued under Mr Kinneer's name, could and should have given the full details of the sponsorship deal. As it has not been provided it reeks of something being hidden or held back.

It has been said on here that it is worth £10m a year and suggested that it will be for 10 years. I have read that elsewhere also but nobody is confirming these details. Why? Is that confirmed though?

The fact that there has been much (adverse) comment about the name of the stadium, which was probably expected I imagine, made giving more detail about the deal advantagious I would have thought, if only to quieten the criticism down a notch or two. We will learn these facts in due course directly or indirectly but it would be better coming from the Club than eleswhere.

One final question, why didn't we inist that the name should be the Hill Dickinson Everton Stadium. That at least would have quitened a few of the moaners down.

Personally I have no problems with the official 'sponsorship' name and it will be up to the fans to call it what they will. Much debate to come on that.

He who pays the piper calls the tune. Better named after a Liverpool company than a foreign airline.
