Frank (1) Yes, they do that from around November when the shirts can be bought at discounted prices. From what I remember they are usually reduced by around 25% - 30% at that point with further reductions later in the season. Im guessing most of the profit comes from the pre-season sales.
For what they are, the shirts are expensive, the so called Pro Shirt at £115 ridiculously so. I am not sure how many more fans would buy those even if they were reduced by say 50%?

Nice enough shirt and kit. I hope fans groups get onto the club, to put a more sensible/affordable price ticket on it.
They would sell much more if fans didnt feel they were being taken advantage of.
